Take responsibility – for people, nature, and the environment

Sustainable Improvement of Working Conditions Worldwide

Our employees and the employees of our supplier companies and production sites are our most valuable capital. And because we primarily see the people behind it, we are committed to ensuring that our products are manufactured under fair and dignified conditions – throughout the entire manufacturing process. For 20 years, our production sites and supplier companies have therefore been regularly audited by independent organizations. This allows us to ensure that our strict labor, social, and environmental standards are adhered to and improvements are implemented.

Resource-Conserving Action – For the Environment

As a family business, we are particularly committed to preserving and protecting resources and living conditions for future generations.

For us, sustainability is not a trend, but a process

Responsibility for people and the environment is consistently implemented in a holistic manner, continuously improved, and is deeply embedded in our core processes and products.

That is why we already cover 100% of the electricity needs for our headquarters in Lippstadt with renewable energy from our own photovoltaic system.
The many packages that leave our logistics center every day are shipped in a climate-neutral manner and in FSC-certified packaging materials. What we cannot reuse in packaging materials is consistently fed back into the recycling loop.
But even in small ways, we seize every opportunity to further minimize our CO² footprint. That is why we have relied on video conferences for many years, encourage our employees to cycle with a bike leasing offer, and connect publicly accessible charging stations for electric vehicles to our photovoltaic system.

High Quality Standards for Durable Products

Our clothing has a responsible task to fulfill: it protects people. To ensure it is still comfortable and enjoyable to wear, we focus on the highest level of comfort and a certain style factor. And because both our safety shoes and our clothing must withstand demanding conditions, both materials and workmanship must meet high quality standards so that they can be worn for a long time. From the design stage, we ensure that our products are durable and can be repaired. In sustainable product development, we adhere to the principles Avoid - Reduce - Repair - Recycle.

Our products and the materials used make up a significant part of our ecological footprint – here we can achieve sustainable improvement. For this reason, only materials that meet our specifications regarding potentially hazardous chemicals are used. You can find out how strictly we monitor this process here. We are continuously increasing the proportion of sustainable, recycled, and certified materials. Already today, we have clothing made from recycled materials in our range. And we have made it our mission to continuously expand this.

License Partner PUMA: Strong Brands, High Sustainability Standards

Since 2002, we have been developing sporty high-performance safety shoes in collaboration with PUMA under the name PUMA SAFETY. The brand is internationally one of the fastest-growing brands in the category of safety shoes. But not only here does PUMA follow its credo "Faster and Better," but also in terms of social and ecological sustainability. With the FOREVER BETTER initiative, PUMA not only fights climate change. PUMA lives very high standards in the context of social and ecological sustainability and requires that these are also consistently adhered to and implemented by its partners.

PUMA's sustainability guidelines include comprehensive environmental, chemical, health, and safety-related as well as social requirements that apply even when they are stricter than local standards. PUMA's code of ethics obliges both employees and business partners to act ethically responsibly throughout the entire manufacturing process and sets clear standards.
We share these values and the common goal of a fairer and more sustainable world. In line with PUMA's requirements, we also only work with partners who meet these.

Taking Responsibility – For Fellow Humans and Society

We regularly support sustainable organizations, associations, and projects, thus taking responsibility far beyond our business activities. In addition, we engage through memberships in national and international cooperations and networks as well as voluntary activities – for our fellow humans and society, regardless of residence or workplace.
