Freedom of movement, comfort, and optimal protection in many work areas - this is what the ClearTPU line from ALBATROS® offers. Designed for the highest loads in extreme external conditions, this line impresses with high-quality, particularly robust full leather - in the case of the GRAVITY MID, also in combination with a water-repellent and breathable Coa.Tex® membrane - and superior TPU sole technology. The sole is a composite solution made of TPU for the outsole and PU as a shock-absorbing midsole. Compared to pure PU soles, it is lighter, significantly more flexible, and more resistant to cuts, breaks, abrasion, and wear. TPU soles are characterized by the wiper effect: the shoe wipes standing water off the ground, thus increasing slip resistance. Visually appealing and a statement of quality at the same time is the transparency of the TPU component of the sole. For added comfort in the safety shoe, the breathable ALBATROS® comfit AIR insole provides. It features shock-absorbing elevations in the heel and ball area as well as longitudinal arch support. This optimizes the natural position of the foot in the shoe and stimulates the muscles while walking. The slip-resistant textile surface is odor-resistant, moisture-absorbing, and washable at 30°C.
